Banks are highly apprehensive about lending for commercial office buildings, making it difficult to secure loans, even at 50% loan-to-value (LTV), due to the impact of remote work.
"I mean, listen, I'm sorry to say, but I don't know where you're at, but everywhere I'm aware of, officers, the banks are scared shitless, okay? Because let's face it, you know, officers ain't doing that good ever since everybody started working remotely and co came in and showed us that and it's really bad right now. You can't even get 50% LTV."
