With the rise of artificial intelligence, tasks like coding and writing will become easier, leading to changes in the roles for economists. Human intuition, judgment, and decision-making will become increasingly important, as AI cannot fully account for these subjective elements.
"I think with the Advent of um artificial intelligence uh you know things will become much more easier for us to do um coding uh writing becomes much more easier um uh but does that mean that uh the roles change well they will change just that now you have now the human bit the human decision making that error that you mentioned that judgment um you know that luck bit how do you evaluate and dispel that luck bit which cannot be done you know which cannot be accounted for by artificial intelligence all the time is is is going to be the real deal so working on your intuition as an economist and and and using your intuition decision making will be very very much more important as well"
