India will launch a constellation of 12 Earth Observation Satellites through a ₹1200 crore public-private partnership, authorized by In-Space, marking the first time private sector funds this initiative.
"It Is the First Time in History That We Have Authorized in Space: A Certain Department or an Autonomous Agency of the Department of Space in Space has authorized a constellation of Earth Observation Satellites That Are Going To be created in a public private Partnership Model That Means Multiple Private State Agencies Multiple Private State organizations and companies will come Together to create a constellation of 12 Satellites. That Will Be a Project Around ₹1200 crore and this is the first Time in history the 1200 crores are spent by the private sector in order to launch A constellation of these satellites."
