"I was lucky because Pith had already forked Salana and they were running Pithnet. They tried to run the Oracle on Salana, but it just was like too spammy and too expensive. So they created this separate environment, Pithnet. So they're already kind of running like an L1. It was an app chain. And so when I reached out to Mike Cahill who was running Doro Labs and worked with way back at Morgan Stanley and said like hey could you think about if Pipnet was its own L1 and like it worked for Pith and that would probably be attractive to other people who want that same scale and that was the start of it."
