Chicago will not experience a significant increase in new multi-family housing development, such as 10,000 units under construction, in the near future due to its density and strict zoning regulations.
"One good thing about Chicago is that you don't have that risk that you're going to like turn around next week and there's going to be 10,000 units under construction. Like that's just not going to happen in a city as dense with as strict zoning regulations as Chicago."
