ETFs are expected to grow faster than traditional mutual funds in terms of user adoption and Assets Under Management (AUM) as users become more educated and comfortable with them, due to their flexibility.
"And as the users get more educated, as the users become more comfortable, our expectation is that the growth of ETF can be faster than the Traditional mutual funds in terms of number of users AUM, so yours may be in index because many people are also long term investors, but the flexibility that ETFs offer, index funds and mutual funds do not offer right now."

Improvements to the Margin Trading Facility (MTF) are expected within the next three to six months, including more competitive interest charges to make the product more attractive.
"So, for that, in the next three to six months, you will see something coming out of the pad. And in this, there is an interest charge for the customer. Right, to make the product more attractive, we will also make our interest charges more competitive."

A new Margin Trading Facility (MTF) product is being developed, designed for advanced and pro users, which provides margin to buy stocks for delivery and aims to be a differentiated product in the industry.
"This is basically for advanced and slightly pro users. Where we provide margin to buy stocks for delivery, we actually spent a lot of time to create this. You know, it's not something which kind of product we thought we would make, we would make it a good product, different from the industry."

A new one-time authorization feature, akin to a digital PoS, has been rolled out, allowing for a one-click sale process by eliminating the need for OTP verification on the CDSL page.
"To solve all this, there is a new feature we have rolled out. This is basically a one-time authorization. It is like a digital POS. You never need to give a TIP. Your sales flow essentially becomes a one-click sale."

Groww UPI has been enabled in the IPO beta flow, simplifying the process by allowing all actions, including mandate management, to be completed on the Groww platform.
"So, for that we have enabled Groww UPI in our beta flow, it's again a very easy process, everything will be done in one place, where earlier your mandate used to come somewhere else, you can do everything on the Groww platform, so your life with that has become quite easy for you."

Users can now apply to both main board IPOs and SME IPOs on NSE and BSE, expanding the product offering.
"So, right now, users can apply to all the products in the IPO, not just the main board IPO, but SME IPO in both NSE and BSE. So, there too, we have widened our product base."

Improvements have been made to the user experience for Periodic Call Auction (PCA) stocks by enabling trading only within specified windows, and further enhancements are planned.
"So, what we have actually done is we have created only in the trading windows. If it allows, the user experience is better. So, this is the first thing we have done. We also want to build some more enhancements on this."

A feature has been launched allowing users to view their positions on the option chain, enabling them to adjust their positions based on market movements without switching screens.
"One, you can view your positions on the option chain. If you see any movement in the market, you come to the option chain and see where your position is and based on that, you can adjust. So, you don't have to change screens; everything is there, and we have seen a lot of users love the option chain."

India VIX has been added to Groww, allowing users to view it within the platform without needing to go to external sites.
"So we added both pop and now you used to have to go outside of Grow. We wanted to just make it easy to see everything in Grow itself, so we added that too."

Payoff graphs have been enabled on the web, allowing users to visually understand their potential payouts based on market movements and strategy parameters.
"So, in a visual form, you can see the payoff graph: if the market stages with in and B limits, so this will be my payout, right, so this is again something users kept telling us we needed, so we enabled this on the web as well."

Improvements have been made to pledges, including enhanced haircuts and enabling the pledging of Sovan Gold Bonds (HGB).
"We did two-three things in pledges. One, we improved the haircuts. Secondly, we saw that the adoption of HGB, which is Sovan Gold Bonds, is quite high and people want to pledge that too, so we enabled that as well."
Pending
Significant improvements in haircuts for pledged securities are expected, influenced by SEBI guidance and market conditions. While specific lists are not available, consistent stocks over time have historically performed well in this regard.
"But you should see a dramatic improvement in haircuts. Right, you know, most of the things that were going on at 2025 will go at 2025. You know, now, right, again, this changes. Right, basis guidance from SEBI and stuff like that. That's it, but you should see a very dramatic improvement in which securities you invest in, pledging, so one thing is that these changes from time to time, right, everyone has guidance, there are some lists, there are a lot of calculations that go into it, so it's hard to give you one definitive list, you will find that, but broadly, the stocks that you know are consistent over time, those have been doing well."

Haircuts for ETFs have been significantly improved, with the addition of HGB and a focus on providing full selection and aggressive options for margin management.
"In that we have improved the air cuts a lot, we feel a lot of people want to hold you know, liquid ETFs, and we have also added HGB, so we want you to have full selection, we want to be as aggressive as we can, right, and let you manage your margins."

Enhancements have been made to the Margin Trading Facility (MTF) to simplify user money and margin management, with ongoing work and further improvements planned.
"So, we have built such enhancements into our flow after thinking about it. Then we have thought a lot about how we can simplify the user's money management and margin management and make it easier for the user. If I could tell you, we have done a lot of work beyond that as well. It's not complete yet. I think we still have a lot of improvements to make. So we are very cognizant of it."

Groww aims to create the best Margin Trading Facility (MTF) product in the industry, with new developments expected in the next three to six months, including more competitive interest charges.
"So, at MTF, we are currently thinking about how we can make the best product in the industry. So, for that, in the next three to six months, you will see something coming out of the pad. And in this, there is an interest charge for the customer. Right, to make the product more attractive, we will also make our interest charges more competitive."

A prominent risk disclosure is provided upfront to users before they trade on the Margin Trading Facility (MTF), highlighting the product's risky nature.
"So, when you first come to trade MTF, we also give a very, very important and very obvious risk disclosure upfront that you see, this is a risky product. We should be cognizant of the risk that is there before you kind of proceed."
Pending
The inherent risk in MTF, particularly for new users, is due to leverage which allows trading beyond means, and Groww aims to discourage new users from trading this product.
"So, like we give leverage to the users in MTF, right, there is a risk that users can take more positions with very less money, right, they can trade beyond the means, which for a beginner and new user, they may not understand the risk associated with it, so that is in a very simple sense, we don't want it to be something that fresh and new users trade in this product."

A new 'light website' has been launched for emergency situations when Groww is down, allowing users to log in with their TAA and square off their open positions.
"Now we have launched it. You can go to that website. Suppose such a situation should not arise that Groww is down, but in such a case, you will get a message with the website address. There you will log in to that website with your TAA and if you ever want to square off all your positions, you can square them off."
Pending
The emergency 'light website' will solely focus on allowing users to view and square off their positions after authentication, with no other features available.
"We will call it a light website. There will be no other features on this website. The only feature will be that you can square off your positions. After your authentication, you can view your positions and square them off. This will only go live if Problems arise, so I would like to add one thing to Lalit's point about light."

A change has been implemented regarding IPO trading; users can now apply during the pre-open session before the 10 am trading start, influencing the listing price.
"So, one of the questions that people always ask is that when you are trading, your IPO is listed, but you start trading at 10 am, so why did you do that? And now what have we changed for that? Right, there we had this window where in the free trading session, users can go and apply and then the price discovery is done on the basis of which the stock is listed."
