As metropolitan and suburban areas impose more restrictions, the short-term rental market will shift towards vacation-type properties in traditional vacation markets, making them the predominant areas for short-term rentals.
"I think that as Metro and Suburban markets continue to place bans and hard restrictions on short-term rentals I do think that that is going to commodify the more vacation type proper in vacation type markets I don't think it'll get to the point where you can only do short-term rental in vacation markets but I think we're kind of heading that way"
