Health insurance cover can increase by 5% to 10% annually if no claim is made. For example, a ₹1 lakh cover can increase to ₹11 lakh after one year without claims, and to ₹12 lakh after two years without claims.
"If you do not make any claim for a year, the insurance company can increase the size of your cover by 5% to 10%. So for example, if you have a cover of ₹1 lakh. If no claim is made for one year then the cover size can be ₹11 lakh. If not done for another year then it could become ₹12 lakh."
